The Karate Kid.... KARATE CHOP!!!

Over the past 30+ years there has been Karate Kid I, II, and III. Not to mention the newest one with Jaden Smith as the lead role and Jackie Chan as the sensei, Mr. Han.

Story starts out with a bullied kid who then meets a sensei who teaches him karate etc. He stops the bullies and everyone lives happily ever after. THE END! Or so you thought ;)

Daniel and his mother move from New Jersey to California. She has a wonderful new job, but Daniel quickly discovers that a dark haired Italian boy with a Jersey accent doesn't fit into the blond surfer crowd. Daniel manages to talk his way out of some fights, but he is finally cornered by several who belong to the same karate school. As Daniel is passing out from the beating he sees Miyagi, the elderly gardener leaps into the fray and save him by outfighting half a dozen teenagers. Miyagi and Daniel soon find out the real motivator behind the boys' violent attitude in the form of their karate teacher. Miyagi promises to teach Daniel karate and arranges a fight at the all-valley tournament some months off. When his training begins, Daniel doesn't understand what he is being shown. A-Z Challenge: Just Go With It

Good o'l Adam Sandler.... This time he's in a new movie featuring Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, and Nicole Kidman.


I saw this with my brother a few months back and I must say, some of the scenes weren't for him. It's an amazing movie; one of my favorites but I don't suggest it for kids under the age of 13.

A prominent plastic surgeon meets the woman of his dreams only to find their future thrown into jeopardy when his playboy past comes back to haunt him. Danny (Adam Sandler) has a unique approach to picking up women -- in order to break the ice and gain their sympathy, he pretends to be stuck in an unhappy marriage. The instant he brandishes his wedding ring, the deal is all but cinched. But when Danny finally meets a woman (Brooklyn Decker) that he really would want to marry, he abandons his usual approach for something a bit more subtle. Incredibly, it works. But when she discovers the wedding band that he used to use as a pick-up prop, Danny attempts to cover his tracks by falling back on his tried-and-true divorce line. Unfortunately for Danny, the plan backfires when his new girlfriend asks to meet his future ex. Desperate, Danny recruits his office manager, Katherine (Jennifer Aniston), to validate his ruse by posing as his current wife. This movie over all is a top 10 for a lot of reasons. It's got a nice story, it's mind blowing hilarious, and its "muy romantica" in a way :)

A-Z Challenge: Indiana Jones

Good o'l Indy. Indiana Jones is one of the classic movies starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones. It's the story and tales (if you will) of archaeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones who travels the world doing tasks and discovering lost artifacts.

Throughout the years, there have been many Indiana Jones released and for the adults out there, you may recall when it first appeared in theater's. I know my father does :P



                     

Raiders of The Lost Ark:
The year is 1936. A professor who studies archeology named Indiana Jones is venturing in the jungles in South America searching for a golden statue. Unfortunately, he sets off a deadly trap doing so, miraculously, he escapes. Then, Jones hears from a museum curator named Marcus Brody about a biblical artifact called The Ark of the Covenant, which can hold the key to humanly existence. Jones has to venture to vast places such as Nepal and Egypt to find this artifact. A-Z Challenge: Harry Potter

In the 20th Century a great uproar has grown over author J.K. Rowling's series, Harry Potter.

It has also turned into one of the most grossing movie sagas of all time!

My how the years fly. Daniel Radcliffe who stars as Harry Potter starts  off his journey by being rescued from the outrageous neglect of his aunt and uncle. Little does he know he holds a great destiny that proves his worth while attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. 

The saga concludes with The final chapter begining as Harry, Ron, and Hermione continue their quest of finding and destroying the Dark Lord's three remaining Horcruxes, the magical items responsible for his immortality. But as the mystical Deathly Hallows are uncovered, and Voldemort finds out about their mission, the biggest battle begins and life as they know it will never be the same again.

First post of the numbers, woot! If you don't remember, on Sundays, I will be doing number movies. Today is 007, next week is 1___, and then 2___. It's pretty easy and simple if you think about it.

Bond is a Secret Service agent, code number 007, residing in London but active internationally. Bond was a composite character who was based on a number of commandos who Fleming knew during his service in the Naval Intelligence Division during World War II, to whom Fleming added his own style and a number of his own tastes; Bond's name was appropriated from American ornithologist James Bond. What's a movie marathon without Forrest Gump :P

You might be wondering why the title is Gump, Forrest so let me explain. I had to make it Gump Forrest to fit Friends With Benefits in. Plain and simple :P

First off, if you have never seen this movie, YOU. HAVE. NO. LIFE. It's a classic. Tom Hanks plays Forrest Gump who becomes a huge inspiration to all.

"Forrest, Forrest Gump is a simple man with a low IQ but good intentions. He is running through childhood with his best and only friend Jenny. His 'mama' teaches him the ways of life and leaves him to choose his destiny. Forrest joins the army for service in Vietnam, finding new friends called Dan and Bubba, he wins medals, creates a famous shrimp fishing fleet, inspires people to jog, starts a ping-pong craze, create the smiley, write bumper stickers and songs, donating to people and meeting the president several times. This is one movie everyone must see in their life. It's a huge inspiration and a moving video about how you can accomplish anything even when the odds are against you. Just watch some of the videos bellow for a slip of a few parts of the movie.

Sexy Back by Justin Timberlake

That he has! Justin Timberlake has brought sexy back with his movie that was released in the end of the 2011 year.

Friends With Benefits is an amazing and hilarious movie ft. Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis.... And Sean White! This movie was amazing. WARNING! If you have younger children under 14 or if your not comfortable letting them see "kinky" parts in the movie I would not recommend watching this with them. This movie is rated R but it is definitely on my top 10.

"Jamie (Mila Kunis) is a New York head-hunter trying to sign Los Angeles-based Dylan (Justin Timberlake) for her client. When he takes the job and makes the move, they quickly become friends. Their friendship turns into a friendship with benefits, but with Jamie's emotionally damaged past and Dylan's history of being emotionally unavailable, they have to try to not fall for each other the way Hollywood romantic comedies dictate." -http://www.imdb.com


Friends With Benefits is just what it sounds like. Jamie and Dylan both have had bad relationship lives so they try to start together but as all relationships and friendships go, they have their ups and downs...

Overall, Friends With Benefits is easily a favorite of mine because from the start, the movie packs a punch and you can just tell it will be awesome! :D

It looks like a bee's coat with stripes for the different options. The bee's in the colums move up and the columns then come from the other end! :D
