A to Z. It's Easy as 1,2,3... Shakespeare! #atozchallenge

HAPPY FRIDAY BLOG READERS!!! Aside from it being the weekend, I am ever so happy to announce that the 2012 A-Z Challenge is starting in TWO DAYS!!! On Sunday, thousands of bloggers will be posting their "A" post so get ready to visit multiple sites :)

If you haven't noticed, I haven't posted much this week. Well that's because i'v been writing my A-Z Posts and scheduling them :P This isn't necessarily bad because it gets me ahead of the game. Our amazing A-Z hosts posted earlier about some tips on how to succeed during the month of April.
10 sure ways to win the #atozchallenge !That is the best part about the April A to Z Blogging Challenge, we all have a huge shot at winning.
What is a #atozchallenge win?
A win is completing all the 26 posts, receiving lots of comments, visiting as many blogs as humanly possible, and making hordes of friends.
How to do this:
1. Kiss: Keep It (your post) Simple, Short.
2. Get a Theme: Themes make your posts easier for you to write, and for readers to remember and comment on.
3. Post every day: This one is obvious, or you'll be taken off the linky list. I think.
4. Pre-schedule: It is not a crime, but rather a convenience. Feel free to write posts in advance so you concentrate on visits.
5. Check Calendar:  There's a challenge calendar in the sidebar below if you scroll down, follow it so you don't end up posting on S when everyone is on T
6. Turn off: Turning off word verifications increases comments, not spam. I've turned it off for good since last year.
7. Visit blogs: Start with those below you on the linky list so everyone gets love. Aim for at least 10 new blogs a day. I'm aiming for 40, but I need to do my hosting duties.
8. Comment love: Comment unto those who comment unto you, and then loads more.
9. Social Media: Broadcast your posts on all media with the #atozchallenge tag
10. Relax, have fun: It is not just about quantity, it is also about quality.
There, you have a win!
Aside from these amazing tips, I have just started a major book in school. Have you ever heard of Shakespeare? Obviously you have otherwise why would you be on my blog :P We just started Romeo and Juliet today and I must say, it's got some wicked dialect! Not to mention in the first 5 pages it has some pretty naughty language. But have no fear, the FOLGER Shakespeare Library edition is here! it gives you translations for those tough lines you just can not understand. For example, one of the most famous Romeo and Juliet quotes:

"O Romeo, Romeo! wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name.
Or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love
And I'll no longer be a Capulet."
- William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, 2.2

That's pretty simple to understand but the beginning is pretty rough.
So my English teacher is the best ever! I bet you never had a teacher who went to both Harvard and Yale. He is the coolest and best English teacher I have ever had. He's going to be helping me out with Divination and other books etc. Anyways, are you ready for Feedback Friday?

Feedback Friday

"To be or not to be, that is the question." Hamlet Act III Scene I

In old times, when people spoke Elizabethan English, Shakespeare would write plays that would be remembered as some of the best of all time!
My favorite Shakespeare play is A Midsummer Nights Dream. This is by far my favorite because even though I read it last year, the detail and plot are just so profound!

"This drama is one of the great comedy plays by William Shakespeare. The play revolves around the adventures of four young lovers, a group of amateur actors and their interactions with the fairies who inhabit a moonlit forest. The story takes place in Midsummer and is a complex farce featuring Hermia & Lysander and Helena & Demetrius. Their romantic intrigues are confused and complicated still further by entering the forest where Oberon, the King of the Fairies and his Queen, Titania, preside. Puck (or Robin Goodfellow) is a major character who is full of mischief and tricks. Other visitors to the enchanted forest include Bottom the weaver and his friends Snug, Snout, Quince and Flute the amateur dramatists who want to rehearse their terrible but hilarious version of the play Pyramus and Thisbe." -

For this Feedback Friday, I want to know what your favorite Shakespeare play is. What is your favorite line or quote and what is your favorite part about it.

I can't wait to read all of your amazing comments and see what plays you like. Enjoy the weekend! I have to get back to those A-Z posts and knock out a good 5+ more.

EDIT: The first 2 A-Z Posts are going to be long... sorry :P I kinda found my post length and style around "C" so don't fret if you see a really long post ;P

A-Z Theme Announced. Why Not? Feedback Friday!

A-Z Mania is 8 days away!!!!

Now before I start this off, here's some advice for all you bloggers partaking in the A-Z Challenge. If you haven't already, I highly recommend you do this.

Yea you will still get tons of comments but still, do this, remove your "robot" Word Verification feature and you will be a lot better and will be receiving a lot more feedback.

Now, A-Z is a week and a day away. Many people have already announced their themes and to be honest, I don't think I can hold it in much longer... Announcing, my A-Z Challenge theme for the 2012 year....

That's right. MOVIES! I am going to be giving you 26 days of some of the best movies of all times!
We will be talking about some movies like
  • Ace Ventura
  • Men In Black
  • Forest Gump
  • Young Frankenstein!!!
Now these are just a few of the many movie titles I have in-store :D In these posts, every movie will be having a few of the best clips from it, some background info, and just the best part of the movie and why it's awesome! For Forest Gump I have to call it Gump, Forest so I can fit it in because let's just say, a new movie that has been released this past year ft. Justin Timberlake took the "F" spot :P

Aside from all this, on day one of the Challenge, I will be releasing the lyrics for the first ever A-Z Song!!! I just finished them earlier today in the car and I must say, it's pretty epic :D It will be to the tune of Cali Swag District's Teach Me How To Dougie. In my generation, this has been one of the best songs of the past 2+ years :D

You know what, here's a sneak preview for ya ;) Cue the chorus!

I like it. A LOT and i'm sure you will to :) Anyways, earlier today when I got home, I went on my blog and saw that my last post, Versatile Blogger Award, I had 20 Comments! I was in total shock plus I saw that I now have 44 followers :D Pretty good for my blog not even being up for a month :) Then I replied to the comments and it got up to 26. Also, I got advice from Tina telling me to add a feedback thing in my comments for the A-Z Challenge so it's easier to get feedback. So, I made one :)

Publishing... One of the many things an Author must do to have a book well, published. I am jumping around and seeing tons and tons of publishers but I want to know, who is your publisher? Also, what is your A-Z Theme and what's your opinion on Teach Me A-Z? Do you schedule your posts for A-Z?

I have to go for dinner but I can't wait to read your responses :)

Thanks for reading and enjoy your weekend!

The Versatile Blogger Award

The Versatile Blogger Award.... One of many awards given in the community.... I am glad to announce that I have been given this magnificent award by my good friend Jamie over at

The Versatile Blogger AwardNow since i'm always curious,  I decided to go onto and see what versatile means.

[vur-suh-tl or, especially Brit.-tahyl] Show IPA
capable of or adapted for turning easily from one to anotherof various tasks, fields of endeavor, etc.: a versatile writer.

Well one things for sure, I am good at adapting and switching in between tasks ^_^  To me this is a real honor and i'm proud to claim it and add it to my list of awards. It means so much to me that the community cares and how we all stick together. This is why part of the rules say I have to pass it on to not 5, not 10, but 15 different bloggers that I recently discovered or follow regularly. Piece of Cake.

Here are the instructions that go with the award:

  • Thank the person who gave you this award and link back to their blog.
  •  Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly
  •  Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
  •  Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

Ok, here goes nothing!

As I said before, thanks a bunch Jamie for this magnanimous award :) It truly means a lot to me :)

First off, i'd love to add Jamie to this list but he gave it to me so I don't know if I can give it back or not but if I could, i'd definitely add Jamie :D I do check Jamie's blog on a daily basis and I can never get enough of his posts. He's 13 followers away from 300 so please go support him and follow his blog at

7 things about me.... Hmm...
  1. I don't have a middle name. My name is hebrew for He will judge.
  2. As to what people may think; no I am not German. I might have blond hair and blue eyes but that doesn't mean i'm German.
  3. I was born in Mission Viejo, California. I lived there till I was 4 then moved out to the East Coast. I hope to move back in the future.
  4. I have always had a strong connection to the ocean and water. Being born on the west coast, let alone living in Laguna Beach, California which was on the beach was too much. My dad would take me surfing in the early mornings on his board and I would spend countless hours in the water. I still feel this same connection where I feel the water is an extension of me. I'm no olympic swimmer who was that connection, I just feel so in-sync with the water. I get so relaxed.
  5. As a child, I was a card collector as were most kids. Throughout my years, I have collected a good 2,000+ Yu-Gi-Oh Cards and 3,000+ Pokemon Cards. 75% of the cards are exclusive cards so they are pretty rare XD
  6. If I could be anything in the world, I would be a wolf. I have always dreampt of being a wolf. I feel like it is an extension of me, as if, a supernatural part of me. I know it's odd but I have always felt like I could just turn into a wolf on thought. No, I don't want to be Jacob from Twilight but I have always felt connected to wolves. I have actually imagined myself as the wolf above.
  7. I love nature. Why does it have to be so peaceful? It's as if when you enter the presence of a really nice garden or a large plain of grass that goes on forever, you just feel at peace. I love nature soooooo much. If only I could live in something like the Shire from Lord of The Rings....

As for you who got the award, I await reading facts about you :) I hope this finds all of you well.
Enjoy the rest of your week!

This, is, SPARTA!!!! Or is it Barsoom?

This, is, SPARTA!!!! Or is it Barsoom?

john carter movie poster 7John Carter, a Walt Disney Pictures production was released on March 9th 2012. It is based off of the Edgar Rice Burroughs comic book novel, A Prince of Mars.

Main character John Carter (Taylor Kitsch) is a Civil War Confederate veteran in the year 1881 who gets transplanted to Mars and discovers it as a lush planet inhabited by 12-foot tall barbarians. Finding himself a prisoner of these creatures, he escapes, only to encounter a princess (Lynn Collins) who is in desperate need of a savior.

In my opinion, director Andrew Stanton did a stupendous job with John Carter. He has previously worked with almost every Disney movie there is! Toy Story 1, 2 and 3, The Incredibles, Monsters, inc., Finding Nemo, WALL-E and so many more. When he's directing you know your getting your moneys worth and more!

Here is a quick plot summary for you from Wikipedia.

"After a brief introduction establishing that Mars is not a "dead planet", but rather a dying one inhabited by warring civilizations with great airships, the film begins in 1881 with news of the sudden death in Richmond, Virginia, of John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), a former Confederate Army cavalry officer, who has become an eccentric and wealthy scholar-adventurer. The arrival of his nephew Edgar Rice Burroughs (Daryl Sabara)—"Ned"—at his "Uncle Jack's" funeral reveals that, in accordance with his own instructions, Carter's body has been put in a mausoleum, which can only be unlocked from the inside. The estate's attorney hands over Carter's personal journal for Ned to read, in the hope that he may discover the reason for Carter's strange behavior and death.

The film flashes back to 1868 and to the Arizona Territory, where Carter is prospecting for gold and having violent encounters with both the 7th Cavalry and the local Apache Indians. After fleeing from both, he shelters in a cave with a Colonel Powell (Bryan Cranston), one of his pursuers, and discovers a large quantity of gold. A strange figure (later revealed to be a White Martian Thern) suddenly materializes in the cave; Carter kills him and, due somehow to the stranger's large elaborate medallion, is inadvertently teleported to Barsoom (Mars). There, due to his higher bone density and the planet's lower gravity, Carter is able to jump fantastically high and throw killer punches. He is soon captured, however, by the giant, four-armed Green Martian Tharks under the rule of Jeddak (King) Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe).

Elsewhere on Barsoom, the Red Martian cities of Helium and Zodanga have been at war for a thousand years. Sab Than (Dominic West), Jeddak of Zodanga, is now armed with a special weapon (the "Ninth Ray") given him by the Therns, and proposes a cease-fire and an end to the war by marrying the Princess of Helium Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). The defiant Princess escapes and is rescued by Carter. Carter, Dejah and Tarkas's secret daughter Sola (Samantha Morton) embark on a quest descending the sacred River Iss to find a way for Carter to get back home. There they find information about the Ninth Ray, the medallion, and the process by which the Therns teleport ("telegraph") from planet to planet, but they are attacked by the Thern leader Matai Shang (Mark Strong) and his minions, the Green Martians of Warhoon. After the attack, Carter is captured and taken back with Dejah, while Sola is able to escape. Dejah grudgingly agrees to marry Sab Than, then gives Carter his medallion and tells him to go back to "Jarsoom" (Earth). Carter decides to stay back and is now captured by the shape-shifting Shang, who tells him about the secret purposes of the god-like Therns and their age-old manipulations of the histories of civilizations on different planets. Carter is able to make yet another escape, and he and Sola go back to the Tharks and ask for their help. There they come to know that Tarkas has been overthrown as Jeddak by the vicious Tal Hajus (Thomas Haden Church). Tarkas, Carter, and Sola are subjected to a gladiatorial contest with two gigantic white Martian apes. After defeating them and killing Hajus, Carter is acclaimed leader of the Tharks. A vast Thark army, with Carter at its head, advances on Zodanga, then on Helium, and defeats the Zodangian army, killing Sab Than. Carter then marries Dejah himself and becomes Jeddak of Helium. That night, Carter decides to stay forever on Mars and throws away his medallion. Seizing this opportunity, Shang re-emerges from hiding and banishes him back to the Earth.

Resuming the original framing story, it is revealed that Carter has undertaken a ten year long quest, looking for clues of the Therns' presence on Earth and hoping to find another medallion. His sudden "death" and unusual funeral arrangements would seem to indicate that he has succeeded and returned to Barsoom, leaving his "Earth body" in a coma-like state. His presence on Mars was via a sort of virtual body, and the death of his Earth body would end his life on both planets. He has made Ned his protector, giving him clues about how to open the mausoleum. Ned now hastens to the mausoleum, opens it, but finds no body. He has been covertly stalked by a Thern. As the would-be assassin prepares to strike, Carter suddenly reappears and kills him. He discloses to Ned that he never found any medallion, but instead laid a clever trap for a Thern. Carter now takes the Thern's medallion, invokes the necessary code words, and is instantly teleported back to Mars, to resume his Barsoomian life with Dejah."
-Wikipedia John Carter Film

Well if you want to know more about it, I suggest you search it on google :P You can watch John Carter in IMAX as well as Digital 3D. From what I saw yesterday, John Carter in 3D would have been insane!

Well that's about it... On a scale of 5 stars i'd no doubt give it a 5. The effects are amazing and the acting is beyond this world! Costing $250 Million, I say it was money well spent. Every penny was worth it for this amazing movie. 5 STARS!!!
Anyways, I highly suggest you watch the trailer bellow because like I said, this is a movie you don't want to miss. Let's just say the end goes happy, very ultra sad, then happy. It's really a joy to watch. Have you seen John Carter? I know Alex J. Cavanaugh has because he made a post about it a while back. What's your opinion on this movie? What would you rate it?

I really want to tell you guys my theme but all I can say is there are hints in my Apocalyptic Change & A-Z Challenge post in the comments section. It's really going to be a blast XD

Anyways, last night I came up with a really good idea for a A-Z song. It's to the tune of Teach Me How To Dougie.

Note: Explicit Language

A TO ZMy version is called Teach Me A to Z :) It's going pretty well so far and I think it will be epic! It will be published on April 1st, the first day of the A-Z Challenge along with that days post. I might send a preview over to our amazing A-Z co-chairs to preview and give feedback. It's gonna be sweeeet! Johnny Bravo thinks it's cool :D

If you remember in yesterdays post about Goals, I said one of my goals for this year was to get an award or two. Earlier that day, before I made the Goals, post, I got a comment on the Giveaway Dates Don't Matter from Siv Maria. She said that she gave me an award on her blog and I could go check it out. Feedback Friday!
Welcome to yet another amazing Feedback Friday and this time, it's actually on Friday! Sadly, this is being posted late at night because it would have been done earlier but I had to leave to go to dinner with the family at a friends house. It was pretty fun because I played this semi-new Wii game which is really awesome. It's called Skylanders: Spyro's Adventures. First rule: It's a Spyro game so you know it's going to be good. Here's an outline of the game.
So you have this "portal" (scanner) thing that connects to your gaming system and you place your Skylander on it. It then syncs your Skylander into the game and you then play as your Skylander. There are TONS of Skylanders to play as. Sadly, they cost mucho dinero. From what the owners told me it costs a rough $8.00 each. That's a lot because the game itself costs a hefty amount depending on the system. It works on most systems, Xbox, Wii, 3DS, etc. You basically do quests and missions to eventually beat Kaos which my friend beat tonight. You can also solo and do ranked matches. You and your friend can choose your Skylander, scan it, and play multiple ranked games. Believe it or not you can play football! You have a two minute timer and you and your friend compete as to who can get the most touchdowns. You can also battle each other to the death which is pretty fun I must say. Little did I know my younger brother would school me at it because he's played it before ^_^ Anyways, it's a really cool game that I HIGHLY suggest you get. You might think it's too old for you but think again. Here are a few good reasons as to why you should get it.
  1. It's fun for all ages plus very addicting.
  2. You can play it with the family and have a blast!
  3.  It might seem like a "childish" game but seriously, where else can you shoot giant trident harpoons at people as a fish warrior!
  4. It's a very fun and interactive game that anyone can play.
  5. It might be a tad pricey but in the long run, you'll have one of those moments when your like "Money well spent!"

Now tell me those aren't good reasons :) Plus you could always give it as a gift to someone (family member etc.) because they'd probably love it! Anyways, if you want to learn more about this amazing game, you should really go check out the Skylanders Official Website and look around! If you ever want to purchase it, go to Gamestop and buy it! Anyways, I want your feedback on this game. Do you think it's to "childish"? Would you ever consider getting it for yourself or a loved one? Please, i'd love to hear your opinion :)

Aside from all this, it's 11:55 and I need to rap this post up so it's still posted on Friday. Well that raps up yet another post. Thanks for reading and remember to prepare for the A-Z Challenge!

Enjoy your weekend!

It's a Goal!!!

As you can see, people get excited for their goals. Now this video is only based on soccer goals but what i'm getting at is goals in general. We should be allowed to be excited for our goals but how do we get there in the first place? Well the main answer is, you have to work for it and push yourself to get it.

Now every blogger or person in the world has goals they set for themselves to achieve something in life. I want to talk to you about my goals for this year.

When ever I go on a blog, I always see awards of the sort on their dashboard, sidebar, or in a separate page. One of my goals this year is to achieve an award or two from our community. Big or small, it's still an award and no one ever gets them for doing nothing, you have to work for your earnings.

Secondly, I want to finish and publish Divination. Doing so would put me at a great start for my writing career as a teen and it would also look amazing on College resumes. I also would be immensely happy at the completion of my first book because as most of you know, it's a lot of work and for my age, it's a pretty big deal.

Last but not least, I want to make more friends in the community. I want to try following more blogs, talking with new people, and expanding my horizons. As they say, you give a little, you get a little. In our case, you follow blogs and give feedback to others, you will get followers back and get feedback. I'm just so glad that our community has welcomed me with such open hands because I have already hit 1,000 page views in less then 2 weeks which for a brand new blog is pretty good plus I was getting a good 10+ followers per day! That's incredible!!!

I just am so glad that our community is so giving and caring and how we all work together as a team to help each other in any way possible. Let me leave you with this life lesson, If you ever want to make something out of yourself, don't look to others to do it for you, work for what you want and don't try easing through it.

Enjoy the rest of your week!!!

This posts question:

What are your goals for this 2012 year? Publish a book, achieve straight A's, do well socially? I'd love to hear and discuss with you so just comment with your answer :)

Giveaway Dates Matter

Have you ever entered a comment and then after your done you realize that the giveaway was old and ended a while ago? Well that just recently happened to me at a fellow bloggers blog-

My PhotoJamie, author of MithrilWisdom, made a post on July 20th, 2011. I guess I was just careless and didn't look at the date because I read his post, and then typed up my answer. His giveaway was for the book Sea of Ghosts by Alan Campbell. What'd you have to do to win? Well you had to do this:

"One of the main features about the world of Sea of Ghosts are the magical artefacts that are created by the race called the Unmer. They have the ability to take mundane objects and transform them into powerful objects with strange magical abilities. To enter the giveaway, all you have to do is comment below and tell me:

What would be your magical object of choice and what would it do?"

As always, I jump to conclusions and write this epic comment description.

Gosh this looks amazing! As for all the other comments, I don't think I stand a chance :P Well, here goes nothing!
If I had an item it would be a silver ring with engravings (like lord of the rings). It would be very fashionable which is why I would wear it :P Aside from the fashion, when you spoke the words "Nazar Eshte" (Na-Zar-Esh-The), the ring would transform into a whole suit of armor that was crafted out of the best material in the land. The armor would be made out of ore and trimmed with a blue dye. Included with the armor would be a golden bow that would be trimmed at the handle with blue and gold laces that came with a large quiver of arrows. The ring also would give you a shield that was silver with a black trim and it would have the rings engravings engraved on the circumference of the shield.
Anyways, thats about it. I hope you enjoyed it :) I enjoyed typing that up xD Good luck with the contest and good luck to all!

After I saw the date of his post, I made a follow up comment.
Just realized that this is a very late comment ;P hehe.... :P Still was fun typing that up XD
What!? I'm not gonna lie. It was pretty fun writing that XD Anyways, the lesson we learn from this is ALWAYS check the day a post was posted :P

Please go check out Jamie's blog and follow him because he really has sum great stuff to offer :) He's also taking part in the amazing A-Z Challenge :D

I have an amazing post coming tomorrow. Goals? Enjoy your Wacky Wednesday :)

Apocalyptic Change & A-Z Challenge

G-day readers :)

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have been very busy catching up with homework plus my laptop is still messed up :( I'm also upset because I missed Feedback Friday but I will make up for that later on in this post.

Anyways we are nearing the so called "Apocalypse" and "end of the world" predicted by the ancient Myans. Now were only a good 9 months and 8 days away from when the worlds supposed to end. Now honestly, if you believe this, your wrong. It's been proven that the Myans were wrong because their calender only was based off of the stars they saw. Now a days, there are many more visible stars and planets due to updated technology.
Although they created an epic movie about 2012, with cutting edge effects and an amazing cast, it still doesn't mean were done for. Otherwise i'd only have 16 days of having my permit :P How much fun would that be?

Since were on the topic of Space in a ways, I want to introduce to you Angry Birds Space. It's a new Angry Birds that's being released later this month! It's totally astrological and NASA filmed a video trailer for Angry Birds which you can see bellow. It's really epic and I really want to get it when it comes out. Do you think Angry Birds Space will drastically differ from the other versions?

In other news, I got Microsoft Word to open! This means finally stepping up with Divination and making more progress. Currently the release date is set for sometime in August. I might change that till October or something. Depends on my time schedule and how busy I am over the summer and with school. Just out of curiosity, how much time a day or week do you put in on writing? I tend to put in a good few hours on the weekend or at least a few thousand words. Oh and did I forget to mention I'm taking a Public Speaking class in school? As always were learning amazing and very useful things :) Since Finals will be starting shortly and who doesn't love studying for them, I wont be posting every day (not like I have) but I try to post when ever possible during the week and I post on the weekends.

Feedback Friday!

Aside from that we have big news!!! We are now coming near the 2012 A-Z Challenge! Now most of the amazing bloggers of our community already have themes picked out but sadly, I do not. I'm still brainstorming ideas but I don't have one yet. I might think about something with movies. Maybe a top 26 movies of all time? I don't know but that's what I want YOUR feedback on :) What do you think is a good A-Z challenge theme and if your partaking in it, what's your theme? I can't wait to see all your amazing feedback :)

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this post and I can't wait for your feedback :) Viva la Apocalypse! :P

Enjoy your week!

P.S. my photo editing software wont open due to my laptop being messed up so I can't make a Feedback Friday picture yet. I might download Gimp on my moms laptop and do it there :P

P.P.S. Here's a funny video of Angry Birds being played on a 15 story building at SXSW. Enjoy!

Shadow's in The Night and a New Segment!

Recently, I have been playing with ideas for a few new books to follow Divination. The Mythology Mysteries is nice and I like it but I might save that for another time. Here are a few ideas of books i'm playing with. As of now these are just names i'm playing with but I have a basic outline for them and what they would contain.

  • Shadow's in The Night
  • Lord of The Frost
  • Terror on Mars

Edit: I just had the idea to make Shadows in The Night a series!!! Children of The Dark would be the name of the series. It's got a nice ring to it but i'm trying to think of a word to replace Dark. Any suggestions?

Anyways, Here's a quick overview of Shadow's in The Night.

Shadows in The Night
16 year old Zachary Fighter was just informed of his Uncles passing and when his family goes to his Uncles house, he wanders off to the attic. Zack discovers a hidden box in the corner of the room. Little does he know that the box found is a magical prison from the olden days. Zack chooses to do some research to hopefully find out whats so special about it when suddenly the box mysteriously disappears. Zack realizes that it's up to him to retrieve the box and find out more about it. Throughout his journey, Zack makes many new friends and foes. Soon he will realize he is part of something far greater then just a family, but an ancient civilization known as the Children of The Dark.

How'd ya like it? I think it could actually turn out very well and I could incorporate many things into it. Do you like the name?

So here is a new thing I want to start. Let's pretend today is Friday. I want to call this new "segment" Feedback Friday. Every Friday I will make a post about new stuff and anything going on in the world or just anything in general and you, the readers will be able to give your feedback on the topic.

So this will make up for this past Friday.
  •  Do you like the idea of Shadows in The Night?
  • What are some topics you would like to see on Feedback Friday?
  • What's your favorite book genre and why?

Thanks for reading my post and I hope you all start this week off on a high note :)

P.S. I was writing this yesterday and I forgot that the day this is being posted on is my birthday :P I can't wait to come home and get all those Facebook birthday messages :P

Anyways, enjoy your week!

I'm On NanoWrimo!

I am now officially signed up on for NanoWrimo :)

National Novel Writing Month (also known as NaNoWriMo /ˌnænoʊˈraɪmoʊ/) is an annual internet-based creative writing project which challenges participants to write 50,000 words of a new novel between November 1 and November 30. Despite the name it accepts entries from around the world. To win NaNoWriMo, participants must write an average of approximately 1,667 words per day. Organizers of the event say that the aim is simply to get people to start writing, using the deadline as an incentive to get the story going and to put words to paper.   -Wikipedia

Basically, when November comes around, I have the whole month to write 50,000 words of a new novel. Now i'm still learning about this but from what I hear it seems really cool and a really fun challenge just like the A-Z April Challenge! Now this seems fun and I hope to participate but it all depends on how Divination is coming along. I hope to finish Divination within the coming months and HOPEFULLY get it published by August of 2012. If all pans out, this would end very well XD

For more information on NanoWrimo and to sign-up for it, go check out If you want to add me, I can be found under Yadin Bromberg.

Now before I finish this post, here's a funny photo I found for ya ;)

Enjoy your day!!!
