The Versatile Blogger Award

The Versatile Blogger Award.... One of many awards given in the community.... I am glad to announce that I have been given this magnificent award by my good friend Jamie over at  http://www.mithrilwisdom.com

The Versatile Blogger AwardNow since i'm always curious,  I decided to go onto Dictionary.com and see what versatile means.

ver·sa·tile

[vur-suh-tl or, especially Brit.-tahyl] Show IPA
adjective
1.
capable of or adapted for turning easily from one to anotherof various tasks, fields of endeavor, etc.: a versatile writer.

Well one things for sure, I am good at adapting and switching in between tasks ^_^  To me this is a real honor and i'm proud to claim it and add it to my list of awards. It means so much to me that the community cares and how we all stick together. This is why part of the rules say I have to pass it on to not 5, not 10, but 15 different bloggers that I recently discovered or follow regularly. Piece of Cake.

Here are the instructions that go with the award:

  • Thank the person who gave you this award and link back to their blog.
  •  Next, select 15 blogs/bloggers that you’ve recently discovered or follow regularly
  •  Nominate those 15 bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award
  •  Finally, tell the person who nominated you 7 things about yourself.

Ok, here goes nothing!

As I said before, thanks a bunch Jamie for this magnanimous award :) It truly means a lot to me :)

First off, i'd love to add Jamie to this list but he gave it to me so I don't know if I can give it back or not but if I could, i'd definitely add Jamie :D I do check Jamie's blog on a daily basis and I can never get enough of his posts. He's 13 followers away from 300 so please go support him and follow his blog at http://www.mithrilwisdom.com/.

7 things about me.... Hmm...
  1. I don't have a middle name. My name is hebrew for He will judge.
  2. As to what people may think; no I am not German. I might have blond hair and blue eyes but that doesn't mean i'm German.
  3. I was born in Mission Viejo, California. I lived there till I was 4 then moved out to the East Coast. I hope to move back in the future.
  4. I have always had a strong connection to the ocean and water. Being born on the west coast, let alone living in Laguna Beach, California which was on the beach was too much. My dad would take me surfing in the early mornings on his board and I would spend countless hours in the water. I still feel this same connection where I feel the water is an extension of me. I'm no olympic swimmer who was that connection, I just feel so in-sync with the water. I get so relaxed.
  5. As a child, I was a card collector as were most kids. Throughout my years, I have collected a good 2,000+ Yu-Gi-Oh Cards and 3,000+ Pokemon Cards. 75% of the cards are exclusive cards so they are pretty rare XD
  6. If I could be anything in the world, I would be a wolf. I have always dreampt of being a wolf. I feel like it is an extension of me, as if, a supernatural part of me. I know it's odd but I have always felt like I could just turn into a wolf on thought. No, I don't want to be Jacob from Twilight but I have always felt connected to wolves. I have actually imagined myself as the wolf above.
  7. I love nature. Why does it have to be so peaceful? It's as if when you enter the presence of a really nice garden or a large plain of grass that goes on forever, you just feel at peace. I love nature soooooo much. If only I could live in something like the Shire from Lord of The Rings....

As for you who got the award, I await reading facts about you :) I hope this finds all of you well.
Enjoy the rest of your week!
-Yadin

  1. Woot! Thanks for the award. I'll add your name and link to my awards page. If you want to read my seven things, you can find them Here.

It was fun to read your 7 things. Have you read the Wolves of Mercy Falls series (Shiver, Linger, Forever) by Maggie Stiefvater? You might relate to the way some of the characters crave the time that they are wolves.

And I totally want to live in the Shire too!

  7. I don't have a middle name either. My parents said it's something people rarely use, so they didn't want to waste their time thinking one up. AND, my father's last name means wolf in Basque.

  11. Congrats on the award! I'm a water girl, too. I spent the first few years of my childhood in Sweden, and learned to swim in the frigid lakes of Sweden. When we moved to the US when I was 9, and from then on, we spent practically every weekend on the Chesapeake Bay near Annapolis, MD. I learned to sail, canoe, kayak, and there's no better place to sleep than on a boat, with that gentle rocking putting me to sleep.
